The United Nations Fashion Week(UNFW) is an international global platform for fashion brands/businesses, critics, fashion press, manufacturers and distributors of fashion related products, services and/or brands, fashion icons etc.,Exhibition .
UNFW is a projects designed as a glamorous celebration of artistry honoring excellence in Fashion . United Nations fashion week is globally produced and managed by Face of World Organisation.it is an initiative founded by the organisation, with its team that made up of Goodwill and UN Ambassadors. With the sole aim of using fashion as a means for cause campaign, the UNFW is aimed at creating a huge awareness for education for less privileged children. through the events charity arm: GLOBAL FAMILY FUNDS(GFF) ON CHILD EDUCATION, with a special programme, tagged; Society for Child Education Foundation (SCEF). The initiative which was founded in 1999 by face of world organisations, foundation, with the sole aim of EDUCATION FOR ALL CHILDREN. promoting reformed education and child EDUcare activism. GLOBAL FAMILY FUNDS....centre for global voice on child education, as the charity arm, its been positioned to handle all the post event charities of united nations fashion week and awards, that centred on children education in the developing nations.
According to the organisation, UNFW is also working to reduce illiteracy, support education and better welfare for school children. And also to help support and educate new talents, encourage ideas, new factories, train locals and enlist established designers to get involved in these initiatives, many of whom are based in Africa, Asia, East Europe, Middle East, Oceanic and the Caribbean's. "we think the fashion industry will lead the emergence of so many of the developing economies, So the leadership of the fashion industry have a lot to do to improve this initiative.
United Nations Fashion Week (UNFW), will be staged in seven(7) continents of the world - Europe, South America, North America, America, Asia, Australia and Africa. And also in seven(7) World Fashion Capitals - New York, Milan, Paris, LONDON, Sydney, Dubai and CHINA. Other countries - Brazil, South Africa, ABUJA and Kenya.
The Global Fashion Tour of UNFW, is a yearly Fashion Circle Tour of World Top Fashion cities, starting with United Nations Supermodel Search,(were top runways models for the year fashion tour are chosen) and the world best designer will be awarded with WORLD FASHION PRIZE AWARDS, in a charity gala, ball and dinner event of UNFW.
This programme was create to raise awareness on education for all children, supporting children education and upcoming talents in developing nations.the proceeds of this event will be giving to charity.
